Ensemble: Lyra - Wien Album: Trobadors und der vierte Kreuzzug Video: Chansonnier K, XIII secolo • The concept of this beautiful album concerns many of the most famous troubadours who sang on the fourth crusade: Raimbaut de Vaqueiras, Peire Vidal, Gaucelm Faidit and Elias Cairel. The recording is really minimalistic the way I like it. I discovered this rare recording doing historical research on Raimbaut de Vaqueiras and immediately fell in love with it. All the illuminations of the video is by the wonderful chansonnier K and every image that appears during a song is the representation of the troubadour who composed it. I wish you happy listening!
