MAKIWARA 巻藁 for Karate practice

Hitting Makiwara is very important practice for Karate. Japanese Karate Grand Master 66 years old, All Japan Kata Champion in 1991, Shitoryu World Kata Champion in France in 2005 shows his own way to practice Makiwara. Please notice.: Thank you for watching this video. This Japanese Karate grand master began practicing several kinds of Budo (martial arts) at age 6 and has 60 years of Budo experience.
