Two taikonauts from Shenzhou-11 Mission Meet Press

The two Chinese astronauts Jing Haipeng and Chen Dong met the media and introduced their space travel on Wednesday morning in Beijing. It’s their first public appearance since the return of the Shenzhou-11 manned spacecraft on Nov. 18, after a three-week quarantine period. They’re now in good shape, and all their physical indexes have restored to the level prior to their departure. Jing Haipeng had made two space travels before the Shenzhou-11 mission, which he said was much better technologically. “I think in this flight engineering technology was very safe and reliable, including the rocket, the spaceship, and Tiangong (spacelab), as well as our space suits, training management, foods and sleeping facilities. We ate very well during the 33 days, as you can see. So I would say there’s a big improvement and enhancement than the previous two trips in terms of engineering technology,“ said Jing.
