“Jagadoddhārana“ is one of the most poignant and iconic compositions in the classical Carnatic tradition composed in Kannada by Saint Purandaradāsa (1484-1565) in praise and adoration of Ambegalu Navaneetha Krishna in the Aprameya Swami temple of Dodda Mallur village in Karnataka. Here, it is presented in a Hindi translation with the sole aim of making the beauty and grandeur of this exquisite composition accessible to those who are unable to negotiate the language barrier.
