Risk of Rain 2 isn’t the kind of game that I would typically play, but I definitely have a lot of fun playing it! The music in this game is a treat too, I especially love the prog rock influences in the OST and this song is a personal favourite! The original song is already quite heavy and rock-orientated, but also very synth heavy, so I tried to make this cover different by being more guitar orientated and went for heavier styled production. The main riff of the song is quite repetitive, but it’s also quite quirky and in 7/4, so it’s also a core part of the song. In order to prevent it from becoming too boring, I come up with several variations of the riff (also based from the original) such as clean section, heavier section, and a polyrhythmic section. Arranging it wasn’t too tricky, and I had a lot of fu
