Portland, Oregon’s “little orchestra“ Pink Martini plays “Üsküdar’a gider İken,“ a traditional Turkish song that originally appeared on Pink Martini’s 2013 studio album, Get Happy. The song has long been popular in concert for the band, with bandleader & pianist Thomas Lauderdale often inviting any Turkish fans who happen to be in the audience to come on stage to sing backup (or play the cymbals!).
