Harpia Knife Making Antler Knife from RDR2

Hi Folks! I finally bring you a project that took me a long time to get done: the antler knife from RDR2! In the game, this knife is found in the body of a bear, which died with its hunter. I had already bought this deer wreath a long time ago thinking precisely about making this piece, but I couldn’t find time for that. I’m a huge fan of this franchise despite having played a lot of the first game and not much of the second game. My son Arthur wants to be a game designer and he also loves the franchise. He was the one who got the game footage I used in the video. In this work I tried to get as close as possible to the piece we see in the game, despite the difficulty in getting accurate images. I know that the scale of the piece is not exact, but I had to adapt the size of the blade to that of the antlers, as the material is natural and difficult to obtain in the exact shape and size. I tried to apply a forced patina that would give the blade an aged look, but I didn’t do the same on the brass handle so that it would look like the one in the game. I especially ask for the help of the gamer community in publicizing it, and I leave the promise that if this video performs well, I will bring more parts of the games in the future. Hope you like it! Olá, pessoal! Trago finalmente um projeto que demorei bastante para conseguir fazer: a antler knife de RDR2! No jogo essa faca é encontrada no corpo de um urso, que morreu junto do seu caçador. Já havia comprado essa coroa de cervo há um bom tempo pensando justamente em fazer essa peça, mas não conseguia tempo para isso. Sou um grande fã dessa franquia apesar de ter jogado muito do primeiro e pouco do segundo jogo. Meu filho Arthur quer se game designer e também adora a franquia. Ele foi quem conseguiu as imagens do jogo que usei no vídeo. Nesse trabalho tentei me aproximar ao máximo da peça que vemos no jogo, apesar da dificuldade em conseguir imagens precisas. Sei que a escala da peça não está exata, mas precisei adaptar o tamanho da lâmina ao da galhada, já que o material é natural e difícil de obter na forma e tamanho exatos. Procurei fazer uma pátina forçada que desse o aspecto de envelhecida na lâmina, mas não fiz o mesmo no latão da empunhadura para que parecesse com a do jogo. Peço em especial a ajuda da comunidade gamer na divulgação, e deixo a promessa de que se o desempenho desse vídeo for bom trarei mais peças dos games no futuro. Espero que gostem!
