English Guide on how to beat DLC3 bosses via SL1 on difficulty 9 in Black Souls 2. The strategies in these videos does not require Requiem, Pocket Watches or any visits to Chaos Dungeon. Guide was done on the minimum number of loops to access DLC3 content. Setup Explanation You start your first turn with only 3 actions. The first, you have by default, the second comes from your jeckyl and hyde’s shield. And the third comes from weilding Andor’s Sword. Poser’s ring is to get rid of any rng that florence will attack you in the entire two turns of her first phase. Abhorrent cloak pretty much makes you unkillable in the second phase since healing deals damage in the second phase and the boss only attacks using healing damage. Bill is the covenant because he gives you enough mana to do a lot more moves you otherwise would not be able to do. The two celestial rings are for increased attack while almighty ring is for general all-around stat boost. 1st Turn Buff yourself with Indignation from Deep Sea Knight’s Anchor, Absolute Precision and Summon Wall of Flesh. Make sure you cast the last two for last while holding Andor’s Sword. Rationale Indignation: It gives you an extra action next turn and the increased speed means your speed will be high enough to meet the max threshhold of ATB speed (somewhere around 1250 and 1300). Absolute Precision: She can dodge and her base stats have some % of dodge. This gets rid of any RNG that she will avoid your attacks. Summon Wall of Flesh: This guy will be the one to take the hits for the Florence’s first two turns. The only thing keeping you from dying. Ending the turn with Andor’s Sword: This allows you to maintain an extra action for the next turn. Overall alongside Indignation, your next turn should have 4 actions. 2nd Turn Heal your meat shield (i don’t think it actually matters). Then buff yourself with Golden Mead and use Grit. Then use Self Mutilation from Sword of Enmity. Then attack with Hammer from Giant’s Sword. Finally, end your turn buffing yourself with phalanx while having Andor’s Sword equipped. Rationale Golden Mead: Acquires Madness which is needed to get your attack high enough so your Self Mutilation does enough damage to kill you. Also increases your attack Grit: So you don’t die from self mutilation and get exactly 1 HP which will allow deadman’s blow to have the maximum damage. Self Mutilation: Brings your HP to 1 and gives you an attack boost. Hammer: You need to inflict some damage to reduce the chance that Florence won’t die in the next turn. Phalanx with Andor’s sword: General attack boost and maintaining that extra action for next turn. 3rd Turn Heal your MP using MP flasks. Fully buff your attack with items. This means using all 4 resins, using and using carpenters screws twice. I would also cure your bleed. Not because it impacts your attack but as a good luck charm. Equip Sword of Enmity and attack with Deadman’s Blow. Then, switch your weapon to Wand of Rlyeh and cast Spiritual Unity. Following that, attack again with Deadman’s Blow. Finally Switch to Deep Sea Knight’s anchor and use Berserk. Rationale: Deadman’s Blow: Pretty much the 2nd highest physical damage dealer in the game behind Frumius Wrath. It hurts. Use it. Spiritual Unity: Deadman’s Blow has a cooldown. You can’t normally use it twice. Spiritual Unity gets rid of that cooldown once so you can use Deadman’s Blow after using Spiritual Unity. Ending the turn with Berserk with Deep Sea Knight’s Anchor: You end the turn with Deep Sea Knight’s Anchor because of the increased attack Stats for skills used in a turn is all determined by the last weapon you equipped. Since Florence is immune to crits, Giant’s Sword is not ideal for this situation so raw attack is more important. You end the turn with Berserk in the offchance Florence decided to do nothing but heal the past 2 turns. Congrats. Unless your luck was bad and you got some of the lower range damage values from your attacks alongside Florence healing nonstop, her first phase should be dead. Congrats again. You can’t die from her second phase because of the aforementioned Abhorrent Cloak. Just smack her with
