Magpie found on the road grew up with a cat and thinks she is a cat too

An unusual pair of best friends lives in New Zealand, Mowgli the cat and Swoop the Australian magpie. Magpies are usually only interested in shiny objects, but for Swoop, the main treasures are their furry pal and their owner, Matt Owens. A 32-year-old man found an injured magpie several months ago on the side of the road. He wrapped her in a blanket and carried her home. Matt’s neighbor is a veterinarian and helped treat the bird.
