Jimmy Pattison was interviewed by Terry David Mulligan in 1988 for the Vancouver TV series THEN & NOW. Jimmy is a Vancouver based entrepreneur who is chairman, CEO, president and sole owner of Jim Pattison Group. He enjoyed a career as a car salesman in the 1950s which led to the purchase of his first dealership in 1961, eventually 13 in BC. He acquired CJOR AM, the first of 20 radio stations he owned. His empire expanded into diversified fields including communications, transportation, food products, real estate , financial services.
