VAMF 2011 Joan Dornemann masterclass

International Vocal Arts Institute (IVAI) co-founder and the Metropolitan Opera’s own Joan Dornemann shares words of wisdom with some of the singers at the Vocal Arts and Music Festival in Blacksburg, Va., presented by the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech. Dornemann and Paul Nadler, also an IVAI co-founder and conductor with the Metropolitan Opera, handpicked the singers to participate in the festival, which is one of three that Dornemann and Nadler partner with across the globe; the other two are in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Montreal, Canada.
