Senja is a beautiful island located inside the Arctic Circle, just north of the Lofoten Archipelago. This island is famous for its distinctive scenery with dramatic mountains and peaks, open sea and fjords, small fishing villages, iconic beaches and untouched lands. In this video we would like to share with you some of the most interesting places on Senja. 00:40 - Hesten & Segla Mountains Segla is the most famous mountain on Senja. It is a spike-shaped summit with an incredibly high cliff falling down to the fjord Mefjorden. To see Segla, you need to climb a mountain just next to it called Hesten. Hesten is also the mountain where the iconic pictures of Segla are usually taken from. 02:06 - Ørnfjorden Ørnfjorden is one of numerous fjords located at the west coast of the Senja island.
