[PC 9801] Totsugeki Mix - Longplay

Tostusgeki Mix is a platformer developed for the nec pc 9801 by C-Lab and released in june 1994. PLOT The dark lord Galuf has ambitions to take over the world, and there’s only one thing left that he needs: three magic seals, said to be the most powerful weapons in existence. When he comes to the castle where they are hidden, the princess entrusts them to a fairy to find help. She escapes the castle and finds three young travelers of improbable hair colors: Rare, Medium, and Well. The fairy entrusts each girl with one of the seals, and they set off to defeat Galuf, rescue the princess, and restore peace to the kingdom. GAMEPLAY Totsugeki! Mix is a cute action platform game. Choosing one of the three girls, each with their own unique weapon, the player must travel through ten different stages fighting Galuf’s unreasonably cute army. There are several different special magic powers that can be collected, including a fairy familiar, magic shield, and time slow, and a boss waits at the end of each stage. You will have different ending according to the character with whom you defeat the last boss. To make you character run you have press up and right arrows simultaneously (or up and left). Characters abilities: 1) The girl with green hair can do a double jump but has a short range attack 2) The girl with blue hair can use whip that is fast and has long range, moreover it can be used to hang on rings. 3) The girl with red hair uses a yoyo as weapon , this weapon hit ememies two times (even when it comes back). Moreover this character can move boxes. In order to go on with the game, you have to get three spheres with the “star of david“ . You can find them : in , area 1-A , area 2-C , area 3-B. TWO CENTS: The graphics is very good, music are nice but gameplay is not so good. Basically because controls aren’t smooth at all. Anyway it’s a nice platformer, especially because there are not many platformers on the pc-98.
