Titles read: ’A Helping Hand - Mechanical aid brings relief to railway Porters.’ Location of events unknown - probably London. M/S of steam engines at railway station. Crowds of passengers walking along platform. Young porter wheels barrow laden with boxes past advertising signs (Bovril) and stops to wipe his brow with handkerchief. Railway porters unload luggage and parcels from train. Another porter comes along on a small tractor vehicle, pulling several trailers laden with luggage. M/S of the porter posing on the vehicle. C/U of engine. Porter does a few nifty turns on the machine. Porter pulls trailers past trains at station and turns in a circle on the platform while a train arrives. Intertitles: ’The Launching of the Dorrimee. Another Morris Engine craft takes the water.’ M/S of large motor-powered boat on stilts at edge of water. Shots of men working on the painting and finishing details on the ship. A small girl smashes a bottle of champagne against the hull, and seems to get cove
