It’s always so heartwarming to see these two on screen and heartbreaking that they can’t catch a break. So when I made the song I knew I wanted it to sound hopeful and have a youthful sound with the melody, kalimba, music box, and unexpectedly a vocal chop. It also reminded me of a song I made 2 years ago titled new beginnings because I loved using the music box as their theme.
