Zodiac Sculptor (1968)

London. Various shots show Dr Arthur J Fleischmann carving a sculpture from a block of perspex; other perspex sculptures are seen in the garden. In the kitchen, Mrs Fleischmann holds a kind of Bunsen burner, lit from the gas stove, under a piece of perspex the Doctor holds; he bends it with the heat and places it in a perspex / mosaic sculpture of a female figure. Several shots show Fleischmann working on perspex with a dentist’s drill; we see several sculptures on the theme of the zodiac, astrology and astronomy. Other pieces have a religious theme. Mr and Mrs Fleischmann drink tea before a table with a perspex design of the zodiac; the table is illuminated from beneath. Note: Dr Fleischmann appears in several other Colour Pics.
