Scientific Rotoscoping: Locomotion of the Blue-tongued Skink

This video shows the method ’XROMM - Scientific Rotoscoping’ in an animation of blue-tongued skink locomotion. The real movement of the animal, which is captured by x-ray videos, is translated in an animation using 3D-reconstructions of the animal’s bones.
