Supermodel’s 1/72 scale Blohm u. Voß Bv138

This is the original Supermodel 1/72 scale kit from the mid-1970s and can currently be found under the Revell label. One of the Luftwaffe’s most iconic flying boat designs, the Bv138 served in the Arctic and the Black Sea areas during WW2 in the coastal reconnaissance role and could be fitted with bombs or depth charges; many were also fitted with radar. This kit is modelled as a Bv138C in the markings of Luftnachrichtenschule 6 (See), a maritime air signals school based on the Baltic Sea coast at Dievenow in Pomerania during September 1943, having previously served in the reconnaissance role with 1./Küstenfliegergruppe 125 (See) at Billefjord, Norway. I hope you like the video, and thanks for taking time to look in. ___________ All materials used to complete this model kit were purchased using my own funds, and I have not been sponsored to undertake the work.
