Tsimblist Pete Rushefsky performs “Oriental Movement #1“ by Joseph Moskowitz (1879-1954) at the Library of Congress’s Coolidge Auditorium, June 25, 2013. Accompanied by fiddlers Michael Alpert and Jake Shulman-Ment of the An-sky Ensemble. The tsimbl, or small cimbalom, is the traditional hammered dulcimer of Jewish klezmer music.
