SOL-20 museum restoration, PART I

In this series I carefully restore a Processor Technology SOL-20 Terminal Computer, the world’s first true home computer (1976). The computer will go to the Dutch Home Computer Museum once restored. A minimal-intervention approach is used, replacing only the original parts that really need to be replaced. In this PART I, I give an overview of the system and proceed to restore the power supply unit. It includes reforming bulk capacitors.
