AmaLee ft. Calliope Mori - Villain Vibes (Metal Remix)

Of all people, I wasn’t expecting AmaLee to join the Vtuber scene, but she’s more than a welcome addition. Her Rise of the Monarch album slaps, and while a bunch of songs from that album have the potential for some heavy riffing (wink wink), I wanted to start with Villain Vibes for now. It’s just one example of the excellent atmospheric instrumentation throughout the record, but also features some *killer* vocal performances from both AmaLee and Calli. For this remix, I wanted to take the opportunity to try out a subgenre I’m rather close to, but have never really tried before: nu-metal. That was the era my dad had his own start in music in, and he’d frequently play songs from bands like Korn, Linkin Park, and Deftones when I was kid. I took inspiration from those bands for this song (with the Korn influence being most apparent in the leadup to the breakdown). SONG: Villain Vibes ARTIST: AmaLee (feat.
