Midland 200 CEPT/PL

Here is a new radio on the scene from Alan UK. I will say here immediately thank you to Colin and Lance for kindly sending me this radio to have a sniff around at. It is a basic 40channels CEPT, 40 channels PL with 4w FM, 4w AM and 1w AM. Backlight Display, up/down on the radio and with volume, squelch and with 4pin mike and electret mike. Made in Thailand, that made me sweat a little as not so keen from radios made there but this is well made and not the 20$ shit that Emperor sell as Rolls Royce Price. As you hear the receive is excellent, there is at my qth a humming when tx on AM but the audio is so strong and sharp that you not have issues and sure most people i know will run an amplifier so the buzz you can blame on that hehe. No BS here guys, do you know how brave it is to loan a radio where it can be slaughtered on the web,, I was asked to be favourable with it, just “play with it“ and see how it is.
