Laughter erupts as Russia’s Lavrov says Ukraine started war against Russia

A crowd at an event in India appeared to laugh at Russia’s foreign minister Sergey Lavrov on Friday (March 3) after he said the Ukraine conflict was “launched against us“. Lavrov was speaking after attending a G20 meeting of foreign ministers. Responding to a question on energy he said: “the war which we are trying to stop and which was launched against us using Ukrainian people,“ as he was interrupted by laughter.
