British BioMedicine Institute Wishes Happy Diwali 2021

Diwali is one of the biggest festivals in India. It is known as the festival of lights as people decorate their houses with Diyas and lightings. Hence, it is also called Deepavali, which literally translates to a row of lights. According to the Hindu Calendar, it is celebrated on the Amavasya Tithi of Kartik Month. On this day, people come together to celebrate light, life and goodness. It is a festival that symbolizes love, togetherness, happiness, joy, and enthusiasm. People visit each other’s houses to exchange sweets and gifts. Even though bursting crackers is condemned and even prohibited in a couple of states, people still burn them in the evening. Hindus believe that bursting crackers is an integral part of the festival.
