Alice’s Circus Daze (1927)

Hey look! Another “Alice Comedy!“ It’s a circus cartoon that doesn’t focus on people trying to sneak into the big top. Rather, pervy Peeking Toms keep trying to ogle Lois Hardwick as she gets ready for her high wire act. Nice touch there, Walt & crew! We have to sit through lots of animation cycles of various animals doing various circus-y things (That laughing clown sequence will haunt your dreams!) before a bizarre lion taming act gets some screen time. Alice and Julius finally get to do their high-wire act and I gotta say, Lois’s comedic takes as she teeters on her chair are top-notch. Video file sourced from with library music gleaned from .
