After lubing, some of the scratchiness does seem to go away but is still noticeable. However, I have heard that after a break-in period it becomes less and less prominent. I personally don’t like the abrasive feel or sound but apparently some people do so it really comes down to your preferences. Sound: These switches sound quite similar stock and lubed, with the main differentiator being the spring ping and scratchiness. I’d say they are in between the high and lower pitches. They also sound fuller, louder and more defined than other akko switches. I assume this is due to the combination of a POM build and long stem.
