TSC XL Big Green Chicken Coop Tractor in Action...

This shows the finished TSC XL Big Green chicken coop on skids with wheels being pulled by hand. I’ve also used my lawn tractor which makes it easier. But normally just pull it by hand. I go slow to protect their little feet. It’s been working good to provide them good pasture to eat and fertilize the lawn. In this shot the automatic feeders and waterers have been installed. I hooked up a hose and water regulator to the waterer from Grainger after this video that keeps the water coming at all times. Except when it freezes - I cut it off and drain it to protect the pipes. There are about 6 nipple drinkers inside the coop and 6 in the bottom run. The only time they’re in the coop is normally when they go to up to roost. So it has worked well so far.
