Prominent human rights lawyer Amal Clooney was among several experts who were instrumental in advising the International Criminal Court on seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in Gaza. While Sinwar is sought for arrest over the October 7 attacks on Israel, Netanyahu is being pursued for the subsequent war and strikes on Gaza.
