Yaroslavl children’s railway: history and overview. A steam locomotive from 1950s runs here!

On July 9, 2023, I visited Yaroslavl. The cultural program included the Yaroslavl Children’s Railway, which I can definitely recommend you to visit! After all, there is a beautiful modern train, a huge railway model, an exhibition of old photographs, and also a real live narrow-gauge steam locomotive from the GDR, built in 1951! Come here yourself or with children - everyone is guaranteed a good experience! The Children’s Railway operates in the summer from Thursday to Sunday, as well as on holidays in September and May.
