Primordial island | Na kometě

On their route to save Angelica from her captors Hector and the Spaniards passes by a strange island seemingly lost in time, yet where evolution takes place before their eyes. Among the animals spotted are Rhamphorhynchus, Dimetrodon, Styracosaurus, Pteranodon and... a fish-boar-thing. Footage is from Karel Zeman’s ’Na kometě’ (1970), based on Jules Verne’s novel ’Hector Servadac’ (1877).
