Chronic Gastritis l Pathology Made Easy

Chronic gastritis is one of the most common chronic conditions and can last for years or even a lifetime if left untreated. A wide range of different conditions and factors are known to cause or contribute to the development of chronic gastritis. Helicobacter -associated gastritis is a primary infection of the stomach caused by Helicobacter bacteria. The most frequent Helicobacter species found in patients with active gastritis is Helicobacter pylori (H pylori). H pylori is also the primary cause of chronic gastritis.
