Morocco. Several shots of snake charmer men; tootling pipes and taunting snakes before a crowd in the Square of the Dead, Djemma el Fna, in Marrakech. In Rabat we see guards outside the King’s Palace; King Hassan and his young son appear before a crowd, accompanied by entourage. People and donkeys carry heavy loads of straw and grass near the city gates; storks stand by their nests on top of spires in the city. A storyteller sits cross-legged on a rug in the market place, surrounded by flowers and doves; he is served some mint tea. Tumblers and musicians perform before crowds beside the market. At the Thursday morning camel market we see several shots of men, camels and water sellers in traditional costume. Two camels appear to kiss. Some pretty western model girls pose by camels and ride on them while a western photographer snaps away with his camera. A western man walks past in traditional costume and fez.
