Roton Rotary Rocket with a Unique Landing System

The Rotary Rocket Company - pushing the boundaries of human space travel. In the closing years of the 20th century, this visionary rocketry firm emerged with a mission to revolutionize space travel. Their answer to this challenge was the Roton, a marvel of engineering and design. This fully reusable spacecraft was unlike anything seen before - a single-stage-to-orbit vessel, equipped with a rotating annular aerospike engine that harnessed the power of rotation to pump fuel and oxidizer to its rim. And as if that weren’t enough, the Roton also featured a helicopter rotor on top, allowing for a graceful and controlled landing. While the Rotary Rocket Company may no longer be with us, the Roton remains a shining example of human ingenuity, pushing the boundaries of what is possible and inspiring future generations to reach for the stars. The design was initially conceived by Bevin McKinney, who shared it with Gary Hudson. Watch Full Video #shorts
