PONTVS: Roman testudo as an assault ramp| Legio XXI Rapax

Up, up, and away for your corona muralis! Legio XXI Rapax does it again - something new in Roman reenactment, but with solid ground in sources. For some time we were thinking about Livy’s description of the siege of Heracleum (book 44), because of an interesting Roman assault formation mentioned there in details.
