INTENSE Jigen-ryu Hyo-ho Ken-jutsu - 42nd Japanese Kobudo Demonstration (2019)

Jigen-ryu (示現流 lit: revealed reality) is a school known for its very powerful first strikes and just as powerful series of kiai. Quite specific too is its tonbo-no-kamae (蜻蛉構 lit: dragonfly stance), a sort of low hasso kamae with the sword held vertically (such as in the vignette of this video. Pretty intense stuff! Demonstration of Jigen-ryu Hyo-ho Ken-jutsu during the 42nd Nihon Kobudo Embutaikai held at the Nippon Budokan on February 3rd, 2019.
