Observist - Familiar
Today we are sadly announcing that we are bringing Observist to a close. This band has been a huge part of our lives over the last few years and we have done some crazy stuff that we never expected within the short time we’ve been around. We have an entire EP prepared to be released which we have spent the better part of 2 years working on. Over the coming weeks, we will be putting out that music as it deserves to see the light of day
We can not thank everyone that was a part of making this EP what it is enough. Thank you to every single person that streamed a song, came to a show or spent their money on our merch we endlessly appreciate you all

Lyrics:
Where the hell have I transitioned
I don’t know what it is but something’s different
I feel it in my bones
This is not my home
I am all alone
I am on my own
I feel it in my bones
This is not my home
(Can you feel it inside of your mind)
This is not my home
(You are one of a kind)
I feel it in my bones
Wake up and the nightmare is real
Living life but a life I don’t want to feel
Day in day out what’s it all about
Observing time waiting to run out
Count the seconds you’ll see nights go by
But in the corner of my eye
I cannot lie
looking up there’s something wrong with the sky
Flashing images
Coursing through my head
All I see is her
But I know she’s dead
There she goes again
I know I can’t pretend
But it’s hard when ghosts won’t leave
Why are you haunting me
Why won’t you just let me be
Why can’t I escape this dream
Maybe if I confront the past
(That’s not a very good idea now)
It can finally rest at last
I’m so sick of being on my own
I’m so sick of being all alone
All I want is us to go home
It was never the same
The day you left me
Something is amidst
I feel the cracks beneath
It’s as if the sky is breaking
Where the hell have I transitioned
I don’t know what it is but something’s different
I feel it in my bones
This is not my home
(I feel it in my bones)
I feel it in my bones
This is not my home
(This is not my home)
Someone is calling me
