1969 GAZ čajka

The GAZ čajka (English: Chaika) is a luxury automobile from the Soviet Union. Built in 1969, this M13 Chaika is one of only 3,197 ever produced. Chaikas are powered by V8 engines, allowing them to reach speeds of up 160km/h. This is quite significant for a car of the Chaika’s size and weight. Chaikas could only be purchased by the Soviet government, and were not available to average citizens. This particular vehicle has transported Soviet political dignitaries.
