Diego Stocco - Luminopiano Preview

Recently I got invited to present my work at the Art of Music in Santa Monica, CA While I was there I previewed my new custom built instrument, the Luminopiano. It’s an instrument based on eight lightbulbs, with a microphone carefully placed inside each one. By tapping the lightbulb, the internal filament vibrates and makes a very nice sound, and each one sounds different because of the size of the filament and placement of the microphone.
