Mingle Media TV was excited to cover the 2nd Annual Thirst Project Gala held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills hosted by Chyler Leigh J.R. Bourne on June 28, 2011. The evening honored Michael Welch, “Twilight“ as the recipient of The Pioneering Spirit Award for his extraordinary efforts to raise the profile of the global water crisis and helping provide clean, safe drinking water to thousands of people. Gala was also sponsored by the Follett Higher Education Group. The Thirst Project is founded by CEO President Seth Maxwell. Over 1.1 Billion people do not have access to safe, clean drinking water and proper sanitization. The Thirst Project is a nonprofit organization raising awareness of and bringing solutions to the clean water crisis through Education Outreach Programs, that educate, equip and empower communities in need of water by drilling wells.
