TBS Super Scary Saturday (Gargoyles)

A VHS from 1988 of WTBS Super Scary Saturday horror movie host Al (Grandpa Munster)Lewis. This episode is the full movie Gargoyles. An anthropologist/paleontologist and his daughter, while travelling through the southwestern U.S., stumble upon a colony of living, breathing gargoyles. Complete with commercials. A few trivia facts: Stan Winston(Terminator, Jurassic Park) created the costumes for the Gargoyles. The caves interiors are filmed inside Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The stunt actors playing along side Scott Glenn as the motorbike gang are also doubling as the Gargoyles. Jeepers Creepers and Land of the Lost movie have used key scene ideas as homage to this Cult Classic. This episode of Super Scary Saturday aired on March 12th, 1988.
