Fx-05 Xiuhcoatl from Mexico takes its name from the first Mexican assault rifle. Xiuhcoatl can be translated as Fire Serpent or Turquoise-Serpent. In Aztec mythology, Xiuhcoatl was the spirit of the serpent Xiuhtecuhtli and was often represented as a weapon in the hands of the god Huitzilopochtli.
