Koichi Tohei Sensei, Hombu Dojo, 1962

In the 1960s when Tohei Sensei was not teaching abroad, he held court at the Aikido headquarters dojo in Tokyo. The building, opened in 1931, served as the headquarters dojo until 1967 when a new larger structure was built next door.
