Written by Peter Schilling. Produced by Peter Schilling and Armin Sabol Hailing from Stuttgart, Germany, Peter Schilling had a worldwide hit with “Major Tom (Völlig Losgelöst)” in 1983. The similarly textured “Die Wüste Lebt (Alarmsignal..)” was the follow-up in Germany. This 45 wasn’t released in the US or the UK. It was also a track on Peter’s first album, “Fehler im System”, which went to #1 In Germany in 1982.
