BouGear - Myasnikov SuperLead - Soldano Preamp Circuit + VHT 2150

Today, under BouGear, Plem revisit his old loves, ze Soldano era via the Myasnikov SuperLead. This preamp is designed by Myasnikov and based on the Soldano SLO 100 lead channel. I would call it a very powerful angry trebly-SLOsnikov. The amount of gain is simply ridiculous, as well as the amount of volume possible at the output... as well as the great responsiveness of the frequency knobs. In short, very powerful, but you have to learn to tame it. Without this, it can quickly become messy in terms of gain stage / definition, and too strident in terms of the frequency response. We quickly recognize the Soldano signature with the addition of the “Snikov color”. When the time comes, I will do the same with the few other Myasnikov preamps that I have in my possession. My favorite is, I believe, the HBE. To be continued in a next capsule near you ;) !
