Undoubtedly, the most popular train line of this timeline was the so-called Chalk line: users began to call it so because at the beginning they left some peeling white paint on their tracks, somehow resembling a giant chalk. Soon several models began to circulate, with singular modifications, but having in common their comfort and their characteristic white color and semi-rounded shapes. Vertical, majestic, diaphanous, elegant... The Chalk line family of trains were the cleanest, shining white and comfortable, where the upper seats were usually reserved for the elderly.
