Cultural Counsellor, Embassy of Russian Federation, Nana M. Mgeladze, on Petrushka’s history

The Cultural Counsellor from the Embassy of Russian Federation, Ms. Nana M. Mgeladze, brought to India a centuries-old Russian folklore - Petrushka. It was performed by Moscow Puppet Theatre at the 14th Ishara International Puppet Festival 2016. Post show, she spoke with Arteree and revealed how the history of Petrushka which is around 400 years old, was pieced together through documents in libraries, and reminiscences by the older generation.
