Kingswood and Wellingborough by elections: Key statistics and benchmarks

Voters go to the polls tomorrow in two parliamentary byelections as electoral contests take place in the constituencies of Wellingborough and Kingswood. Helen Harrison is running for the Conservative Party in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, after her disgraced partner Peter Bone lost the seat in a recall petition having been suspended over bullying and sexual misconduct claims, which he denies. Ms Harrison is defending a majority of 18,540 in what has been traditionally a safe seat for the Tories, although Labour’s large lead in the national polls suggests its candidate Gen Kitchen has a chance of winning, with Reform UK also expected to make gains.
