Pulsar Modular has released a full fledged master bus processing plugin that included summing, EQ, compression, as well as converter and analog color emulations. Designed in conjunction with Marc Daniel Nelson, the P455 Sidecar models Marc’s vintage API Sidecar on the summing side, as well as a lot of other aspects of his analog signal chain that contribute to his overall sound.
I’ll take a look at the P455 Sidecar on the mix bus in a few different configurations, as well as compare it with my hybrid analog workflow using my API Box Console.
