“Ved Stanford Brua“ - Norse Song of The Battle at Stamford Bridge

The battle at Stamford Bridge in 1066 is what marked the decline of the vikings, and the end of the viking era. It is also said that if the Norsemenn had won here, they would’ve ruled much of Britain for years to come. The king in this song, Harald Hardråda, is concidered to be the last great viking king in history. The song was created by Norwegian folk singer Harald Foss.
