Inspired by Studio Ghibli’s ‘The Tale of Princess Kaguya’, the story depicts a mysterious young princess who enthralls all who encounter her and who ultimately left her mortal life on earth to return to the moon – it’s a tale of loss and beauty, but it’s also one that encapsulates joys and sorrows. An ode to the East, the collection is all about celebrating the feminine opulence from a fairytale and a poetic perspective. Named after Japanese words that represent nature, colours and virtues, the line-up embodies the story, and we aim to enable the wearer to feel and experience the narrative through the pieces.
